God will help you avoid temptation - 1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

- 1 Corinthians 10:13, NIV

More About This Verse

Meaning

Everyone faces temptation. But God knows how much or little we can handle, and He doesn’t allow us to experience more than we can handle. When you are facing a temptation that seems insurmountable, remember that God gives you strength to get through it.

Even if you fail and give into temptation, God gives you a way back to a right relationship with Him through repenting of your sin. Because of His great love for you, God is always on your side. He is always rooting for you!

We are reliant on God to help us through these difficult temptations, which can serve to grow our faith.
