Those who hope in the Lord will get all the strength they need - Isaiah 40:31
More About This Verse
MEANING
When we put our hope and trust in God, He gives us the power and strength to face whatever comes our way! The verses before verse 31 discuss how God never tires, never needs to rest, and knows everything; He is a never-ending source of strength to us. This doesn’t mean we’ll never have problems; rather, it means that God will give us what we need to work our way through those problems as long as we trust in God and try to do what’s right.
God has goals for each and every person. And He’s equipped us to accomplish the goals set before us. Sometimes we know exactly what to do, but many times we are confused or in a trial and completely reliant God. God uses these times to remind us that reliance on Him is the best place to be—in good times or not. He can help us where we are. He can be our strength and stamina if we turn to Him.
As we go through life relying on God’s power and doing our best wherever we are planted, He will give us not only what we need to accomplish His goals, but we’ll be fulfilled, and blessed by God for it.
