MEANING
Not only can we cast our burdens on God, we are instructed to give all our concerns to God. He cares about us. God, the creator of the universe; God, the one who is more powerful than anyone or anything cares about you! So, go ahead. Take all your burdens and problems, your pain, your unrealized dreams, your hopes and give it all to God. He is infinitely able to help you.
If you’re feeling hurt or in a difficult situation right now, you might be wondering: where is God? He is with you, even when you can’t feel Him. He is working all things for His good will in your life. We don’t always understand why we go through trials. But God sometimes allows us to go through the difficult things so that we lean on Him, so we learn that God partners with us through the trial. This makes us stronger and increases our faith as we emerge on the other side.
When you pour your heart out to God and get your eyes on Him, you gain perspective. You have direct access to God! Trust God with everything—your relationships, finances, pain, job, passions, hopes, disappointments, failures, wins—in your life. He cares for you! When you trust God with everything, He will defend you, help you, and sustain you.
