The Cast of Christmas: The Angels Proclamation - Luke 2:13-14 Pastor Richard Rogers

The fist proclamation of Christmas came from heaven through angels speaking to shepherds. Jesus brought us peace with God. What better way to proclaim and demonstrate the love and peace of this season, the love and peace of God, than to tell other of what Christ has done for us?

Proclamation by Angels

“Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, 14 ‘Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests’” (Luke 2:13-14, NIV).

Jesus brought us peace with God.

The best thing we can do is share that peace with others by telling the story of Jesus and the peace that you have. We have a special opportunity to proclaim peace to our families in the same way the angels did to the shepherds.

Celebrate this season proclaiming peace

Peace making deals with underlying issues and brings healing and restoration. That’s what Jesus did for us. What better way to proclaim and demonstrate the love and peace of this season, the love and peace of God, than to tell other of what Christ has done for us?
